I really wanted to like 2064 and had high hopes after seeing some of the trailers. Sadly, the ads for the game are more enjoyable than the game itself!
The trouble stems, I think, from the lack of intuitive narrative that a futuristic genre game similar this requires for immersive gameplay. The "challenges" are rote and accept been rehashed over and over once again in precursors to 2064. The

Having heard about how groundbreaking and refreshing this game was, I was incredibly excited to see that it was coming to the PS4.
I eagerly downloaded it on the day of release and took my time with it.
I can honestly say I've rarely regretted buying a game quite this much. Information technology was beyond dull. The first 30 minutes I kept telling myself "It's a tiresome build upwardly, keep with information technology, it'll get Having heard about how groundbreaking and refreshing this game was, I was incredibly excited to see that it was coming to the PS4.
I eagerly downloaded it on the day of release and took my fourth dimension with information technology.
I can honestly say I've rarely regretted ownership a game quite this much.
It was beyond dull. The first thirty minutes I kept telling myself "Information technology's a boring build up, keep with it, it'll go better" and... then I reached the finish of the game (afterward a few hours, obviously) and honestly.... I felt like I wasted my time.

The entire game is incredibly slow and, honestly, comes off every bit a petty preachy.
I am fully in support of rights and such for every type of person. I do not judge, and call back anybody should alive equally they desire.
However, the plot and graphic symbol development was legitimately obnoxious. At times I was convinced they'd ripped off the script of a Saturday morning drawing PSA nearly identity politics...

And don't get me started on the sound. The "voice interim" (I use quotations, as I feel information technology would do a disservice to people who put effort into their work) is awful. At points it sounded like they got the same woman to vocalism five different people, each with a slightly different vocal tone.

Overall, honestly, it was just bland and forgettable. I have had more engagement and enjoyment from a choose-your-own-adventure game written by amateurs.
Maybe this game was trying to appeal to those who have very strong political views, and then maybe that's where I went wrong.

On a side note, I'd like to give a shout out to the developers for going on Twitter and literally begging for proficient scores because their review section was "raided".
I idea information technology was photoshoppped, or they'd been hacked, merely nope. They actually did that.
This is not a cool business practise. A game should non get a positive score because of something outside of the game.
I'd similar to think they'll abound upwards and larn from this, merely they won't.
